พุทธปรัชญาในพุทธปฏิมา; Buddhist Philosophy in Buddha image

Abstract

         The Buddha images were a representative of the Buddha, the great teacher of Buddhism. Buddhists have been established the Buddha images in order to keep the Buddha in minds according to the texts in the Buddha history, caused to have many Buddha images. The Buddha images were not only the honorable statues but the symbol reflected the important Buddhist philosophy. Although to pay respect the Buddha images by prostration and other material worships is good but not really beneficial. But to understand the Buddhist philosophy truly hidden in the Buddha images and induce it to practice would be the real benefit.

บทคัดย่อ

            พุทธปฏิมาเป็นสื่อแทนพระพุทธเจ้าผู้เป็นศาสดาของพระพุทธศาสนา พุทธศาสนิกชนได้สร้างพุทธปฏิมาขึ้นมาเพื่อระลึกถึงพระพุทธองค์ตามเนื้อหาในพุทธประวัติทำให้มีพุทธปฏิมาจำนวนมาก พุทธปฏิมาไม่ใช่เป็นเพียงรูปเคารพเท่านั้น แต่เป็นสัญลักษณ์ที่สะท้อนถึงพุทธปรัชญาสำคัญ แม้การบูชาพระพุทธปฏิมาด้วยการกราบไหว้และอามิสบูชาต่าง ๆ จะเป็นความดี แต่ก็ยังไม่นับว่าได้ประโยชน์อย่างแท้จริง ส่วนการสร้างความเข้าใจอย่างถ่องแท้ถึงพุทธปรัชญาที่แฝงอยู่ในพุทธปฏิมา และน้อมนำไปสู่การปฏิบัติ จึงจะเกิดประโยชน์อย่างแท้จริง
