Abstract

This research aimed to investigate a needs assessment of undergraduate technology students learning management according to high competency workforce mobilization policy of technical institute in the Institute of Vocational Education: Northeastern Region 1. The sample consisted of 130 administrators and instructors in Bachelor of Technology Program (Continuing Program) related field of industrial technology in the Institute of Vocational Education: Northeastern Region 1, Office of the Vocational Education Commission in the first semester year 2024. The samples size was selected by stratified random sampling. The research instrumentation was a questionnaire. Data were analyzed by percentage, mean, standard deviation, Modified Priority Needs Index (PNI_mod), and the matrix analysis.

The research results revealed that: 1) The overall of current situations of undergraduate technology students learning management according to high competency workforce mobilization policy of technical institute in the Institute of Vocational Education: Northeastern Region 1 was yield in the high level.; 2) Furthermore, the overall of desirable situations of undergraduate technology students learning management according to high competency workforce mobilization policy of technical institute in the Institute of Vocational Education: Northeastern Region 1 was yield in the highest level. A needs assessment can be classified as follow as: instructors (PNI_mod = 0.226); cooperative with the enterprises (PNI_mod = 0.210); and undergraduate technology students (PNI_mod = 0.179), respectively.
