Abstract

         The objective of this research was to evaluate the Moderate Class More Knowledge Project of Chokchai Samakkee School, Nakhon Ratchasima Province. The evaluation mainly focused on the 3 aspects: 1) input, 2) process, and 3) output of the project. The informants of this research consisted of 2 school administrators, 1 teacher responsible for the project, 85 teachers, and 328 students. The instruments used to collect data consisted of the questionnaires, the interview forms, and the data collection forms. Data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, and content analysis. The results of the evaluation revealed that 1) input: the consistency of learning time structure, school-based curriculum structure, and time schedule were consistent with the guidelines for reducing study time according to policy “Moderate Class More Knowledge”. The suitability of the project plan, the suitability of more knowledge activities and the teachers’ readiness passed the evaluation criteria, whereas the availability of building, materials and budget failed the evaluation criteria. 2) process: the suitability of the project execution and problem-solving passed the evaluation criteria, whereas the suitability of moderate class learning management, the suitability of assessment of moderate class learning activities, the suitability of more knowledge learning management, the suitability of assessment of more knowledge learning activities and the suitability of project supervision and monitoring, failed the evaluation criteria. 3) output: the students’ learning achievement passed the evaluation criteria for four leaning areas which consisted of Social Studies, Religion and Culture, Art, occupations and technology, and health and Physical Education. For the desired characteristics, reading, analytical thinking and writing, clubs, boy scouts, girl scouts and praying activity passed the evaluation criteria. Moreover, more knowledge learning management passed the evaluation criteria at a satisfied level for all learning activities.
