Perception on the Coronavirus Disease COVID-19 into the Role in Disease Control of Village Health Volunteers in Phrom Buri District, Sing Buri Province

Abstract

This research aimed to study (1) perception on the Coronavirus Disease COVID-19 of village health volunteers in Phrom Buri District, Sing Buri Province, (2) role in disease control of village health volunteers of disease in Phrom Buri District, Sing Buri Province, (3) relationship between the perception on COVID-19 virus disease and the role in disease control of village health volunteers of disease in Phrom Buri District, Sing Buri Province.

      This research is a quantitative research. Samples used in this study were 225 village health volunteers of in Phom Buri District, Sing Buri Province. The research instrument was a 5-rating scale questionnaire. The data were analyzed through frequency, percentage, standard deviation, and Pearson's correlation coefficient.

      The results of the study could be concluded as follows: (1) Perception of the Coronavirus Disease COVID-19 of village health volunteers in Phrom Buri District, Sing Buri Province in an overall was at a high level. (2) The role in disease control of village health volunteers of disease in Phrom Buri District, Sing Buri Province in an overall was at a high level. (3) Overall, the relationship between perception on COVID-19 virus disease and the role in disease control of village health volunteers of disease in Phrom Buri District, Sing Buri Province was positive correlation at .01 level of significance with a low correlation level (r=0.213).
