Using digital media to promote understanding of wildlife populations: A case study of the wildlife corridor along Highway no. 304 (Khao Yai - Thap Lan National Park)

This research aimed to explore the content creation process and the impact of digital media communication on wildlife corridor conservation along Highway 304, the boundary between Khao Yai National Park and Thap Lan National Park. The study focused on the perspectives of three target groups: conservation officers, community members, and tourists. The study aimed to analyze their needs, experiences, accessibility, and attitudes toward communication, as well as to experiment with contextually appropriate media production. Qualitative methodologies included in-depth interviews, field observation, and experimental media design in the form of video clips and semi-documentary infographics. This research combined academic data with narrative experiences to effectively communicate with diverse audiences. The results revealed that conservation initiatives should be designed within a participatory communication framework that prioritizes social, cultural, and technological contexts to foster shared understanding and motivate sustainable natural resource conservation.
