THE DEVELOPMENT OF ENGINE HOIST FOR FRONT ENGINE REPAIR

Abstract

The objective of this research was to develop and study the efficiency of engine hoist for front engine repair. Target groups used in this research were 5 experts in engine repair, choosing according to the specified qualifications. The tools used for data collection were work piece quality assessment form, and the engine hoist. The statistics used for data analysis were mean and standard deviation. The research found that the quality of engine hoist for front engine repair was at “very good” level. The efficiency of the engine hoist on the duration was 5.33 minutes less than the original, representing 30.75 percent.
