A result of short-term courses training based on technology to support career towards students with special needs at Phitsanulok polytechnical college ARESULT OF SHORT-TERM COURSE TRAINING BASED ON TECHNOLOGY TO PROMOTE CAREER TOWARD STUDENTS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS AT PHITSANULOK POLYCHNICAL COLLEGE

Abstract

The objectives of the study were to experiment the short-term courses training, to study the skills after training and to study the satisfaction of students with special needs at Phitsanulok polytechnical college towards the use of short-term courses training based on technology to support career.   This study was experimental research with 4 stages as followings: stage 1 was to survey basic information; stage 2 was to experiment the short-term courses training; stage 3 was to study the capacity of the training and stage 4 was to study the satisfaction of students with special needs at polytechnical college towards the use of short-term courses training based on technology to support career. A sample was selected 19 students (7 special needs students and 12 normal students) from Watyang (Meemana) school who studied Graphic Computer Package Software short-term courses training at polytechnical college by purposive sampling. The results of the study were as follows: 1) 2 special needs students got 2, 4 special needs students got 2.5 and 1 special needs student got 4, 2) the result of the skills after training were 37-47 from the total of 60 (62-78%), 3) the result of satisfaction of students with special needs at polytechnical college towards the use of short-term courses training based on technology to support career in overall was at the high level ( =  4.46 , S.D. = 0.60)  so the short-term courses training based on technology to support career towards students with special needs at Phitsanulok polytechnical college will be efficiency for training.
