Abstract

The research about development of short animation teaching 2D Animation on the topic of color psychology theory in animation for vocational certificate students aim about 1) Development of a short animation for teaching 2D animation on the topic of color psychology theory in animation. for vocational certificate students. 2) Compare academic achievements before and after learning. 3) to study the satisfaction of students towards A short animation for teaching 2D animation on the topic of color psychology theory in animation. The population used in this study was group of 20 student who studying in 2^nd year in 2022 were selected by random method. The research tools were short animation for teaching, Achievement Measurement, and a questionnaire to assess students' satisfaction towards short animation used in teaching 2D animation on the topic of color psychology in animation. There are 5 levels of rating scale. The statistics used were percentage, mean, and standard deviation The results showed that 2nd year vocational certificate students who have learned using short animations to teach 2D animation creation on the topic of color psychology theory in animation have higher learning achievement after learning than before learning. The average score of the pre-test was 9 points, representing 45% and the average score after the test was 16.15 points, representing 80.75%.
