Abstract
This article presents approaches to developing vocational skills for Vocational Certificate (VC) and Higher Vocational Certificate (HVC) students through the application of four teaching techniques: Problem-Based Learning (PBL), Flipped Classroom, Competency-Based Education (CBE), and Work-Integrated Learning (WIL). These techniques are designed to meet the demands of the modern labor market and enhance essential 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, and lifelong learning. The article emphasizes the evolving role of teachers as learning facilitators who must adapt their teaching methods to suit the needs of modern learners. It also highlights the importance of collaboration between educational institutions and workplaces to provide practical learning opportunities. Additionally, the article offers recommendations to support the development and implementation of these teaching techniques within the context of Thailand, preparing students with skills necessary for global competitiveness.
