“ลูกไม้ Why/วาย/วัย ป่วง” : การตีความละครพูดชวนหัวใน พระบาทสมเด็จพระมงกุฎเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัวผ่านศิลปะการแสดงร่วมสมัย (“Luk Mai Why/Waay/Wai/ Puang” : The Comedies of King Rama VI’s: The New Interpretation of King Rama VI’s Comedies Through Performing Arts)

This article aims to study the stage production of “Luk Mai Why/Waay/Wai/ Puang” which is adapted from three King Rama XI’s comedies. “Wi Lai Luek Khu,” “Top Ta” and “Luang Cham Nien Dern Thang” were interpreted, synthesized, and constructed in contemporary theme to preserve and utilize the knowledge of the comedies in the perception of contemporary theatre. “Luk Mai Why/Waay/Wai/ Puang” presented the woman role in all periods. Thai society was also projected by contemporary theatre which was presenting three stories of three different age women. By interpreting comments of production team and audiences, this study found that the stage production created the sense of King Rama XI’s comedy preservation and promulgation.
