การศึกษาช่องทางการเผยแพร่เรื่องเปาบุ้นจิ้นในประเทศไทย (A Study on Spreading Ways of The Story of Pao Ching-tien in Thailand)

This paper mainly focuses on researching the spreading ways of the stories of Pao Ching – tien in Thailand. And it used not only quantitative analysis and the qualitative analysis in this paper. The quantitative data is analyzed using percentage, And the qualitative analysis mainly analyzes the documents related to Pao Ching – tien obtained from the CNKI database of China as well as the ThaiJO database and ThaiLIS database of Thailand. The tool used to collect the information from the sample in this paper was the online questionnaire by Google form. The research found that there were six types of spreading ways for the stories of Pao Ching – tien in Thailand as follows: First is television drama related of Pao Ching – tien, accounted for 97.2 %, which is considered the most important and efficient way for spreading the stories of Pao Ching – tien in Thailand. Second is storytelling within families or among friends, which is the second common way with 62% of respondents indicating its usage. The Chinese language television drama is the third way with 40.8%. while Thai language printed materials (36.6%), Chinese operas (33.1%) and the internet (31%) are the ranked fourth to sixth ways, respectively. And each of these six types of ways has its unique characteristics in spreading the stories of Pao Ching – tien in Thailand. In a word, the result of this paper can be used as reference to study the spreading of other Chinese literary works in Thailand in future.
