Labor force characteristics that entrepreneurs in the 5 main industries need in Roi Et Province During the Covid-19 situation

Abstract

        The objectives of the research on the characteristics of the labor force that entrepreneurs in the 5 main industries need in Roe Et province during the Covid-19 situation are: 1) to study the characteristics of labor force in the 5 main industries that are required by entrepreneurs in Roe Et Province, and 2) to study the desirable labor needed in the 5 main industries in Roe Et province. The 17 key-informants from 5 main industries in Roe ET province in which 9 people are the company's managers, directors, and supervisors, and another 8 employees. The interview form was used to collect the data. The data are analyzed through inductive analytical method.  The findings revealed that the labor characteristics required by the organizations can be concluded as follows: 1) high responsibility and work skills become the most requirements of organizations, 2) adaptable skills towards various situations, 3) creativity skills due to the current situation that is subjected to a very high competition, 4) good communication skills that refer to a creation of human relations, and 5) passion and desire to be successful in work, most organizations want employees who love their work and become successful in their work.
