STUDY FACTORS PACKAGE DESIGN FOR ABHAIBHUBEJHR’S SKIN HERBAL SOAP

Abstract
This research has the following objectives: 1 to study the design factors of a package for Aphaiphubet
herbal body cleansing product, 2 to design the packages for Aphaiphubet herbal body cleansing product, and 3
to assess customer’s satisfaction affected by for Aphaiphubet herbal body cleansing product packages. By
selecting 20 customer group samplings that used Aphaiphubet’s herbal products, the method of Simple
Random Sampling, respondent interview, and selective questionnaire, help support information analysis for the
research and design process. Initial design procedure, the influential factors affecting the package design can be
categorized into three foundations requirements: cleanness, clearness, and customer receptive factor. After
taken into an account of the required design factors, several design drafts generated into questionnaire
intended to gather the expert opinion within the Aphaiphubet foundation, and the expert in package design and
package printing in an offset system. As a result, the expert from Aphaiphubet has selected the third and
second design patterns, which indicated within the selected scope of the package designer and package printing
expert’s preferences: with good and moderate level of suitability respectively. Therefore, the third design
pattern indicated a higher acceptability level and developed into the package design that then assess for offset
printing plausibility before actual final design.The intended design was subsequently earned a good level of
satisfaction with conclusion for further development in design detail of patterns, enhancing visually graphics to
gain higher interest, and further incorporating natural material into the design process. Additional information
such as: inclusion of descriptive information and tactile ability to better perceive the package design are also a
positive influential factor worth considering for designing a future package design product.
