Logo Design and Packaging Development for Handicraft Group of Straw Plastic’s Product from Nong Phluang Subdistrict Chakkarat District Nakhon Ratchasima Province.

Abstract

This research is Logo Design and Packaging Development for Handicraft Group of Straw Plastic’s Product from Nong Phluang Subdistrict Chakkarat District Nakhon Ratchasima Province.The purposes of this research were: (1)To design logo of the handicrafts from plastic straw. (2)To develop the packaging of the souvenirs. (3)To assess the satisfactions of the customers on logo and packaging design. The study was a survey research. Research Instrument were.(1)Interview form to find out the data to support logo design and packaging development. (2)Questionnaire to find out feedback from experts. (3)Satisfaction survey form to find out customer’s satisfaction. There were description, mean and standard deviation for data analysis. The results of the research were as follows.(1)Logo design had shown the identity of the product, contemporary style, reliability, universality, and unity. The simple color of the product helped to create customer and membership’s recognition. (2)Packaging development was considered to safe the product. (3)Model of packaging was improved and developed by recommendation from the experts. The box was made of kraft paper KI275 with front side drilled cut, covered by PVC, and ended with glue on back side. Packaging graphic consisted of product name, type of product, logo, illustrations, manufacturers, distributors, background, packing number, price, and  four color offset printing. (4)The results of satisfaction on usability and marketing issues from customers is high level. The satisfaction of customers on usability is high level with X=4.21, and S.D.=0.76. The satisfaction of customers on marketing is high level with X= 4.26, and S.D.=0.74
