A Multi-functional table for tailor’s shops

Abstract

          The purpose of this project is to produce a versatile sewing table for tailor shop and to explore user satisfaction towards the versatile sewing table. Collected data were summarized and analyzed in order to make a product mock up. A group of four experts examined and evaluated the product. Then, feedbacks from experts were obtained to make a product prototype. The sample group used in this study was 10 small sewing entrepreneurs in Jaransanitwong district. The sample group had been using the multi-purpose sewing table for tailor shop for 3 days. The questionnaire was use to evaluate the satisfaction towards multi-purpose sewing table for tailor shop. Statistics used in this research were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation.

              The results of user satisfaction towards multi-purpose sewing table for tailor shop revealed that majority of respondents were female aged more than 31 years old with educational background lower than bachelor degree and earning monthly income more than 20,001 Baht as entrepreneurs in tailor shop for ladies. Regarding size and materials used in this multi-purpose sewing table for tailor shop were suitable with average 4.80. The utility of this product was high in which working space was increased from using this multi-purpose sewing table for tailor shop with average 4.81. Pertaining to esthetic of product, it was assessed with suitable esthetic aspect with average 4.80 as well
