Development natural colors to creation printmaking

Abstract

The creation of art has always associated with chemicals especially printmaking that require chemicals to create printing matrix and used chemical colors in printing image resulting in pollution to creators and environment. The use of natural colors therefore an interesting way which safe and friendly with everything.
The research development natural colors to creation printmaking have purpose 1. To study natural materials that give colors 2. Experiment and develop natural colors to create printmaking 3. Create natural colors printmaking. By begin from literature review then go to field to collect data samples of natural colors materials that give colors to experiment, and development create printmaking by using woodcut technique that most in accordance with nature mixed with ancient painting technique found that natural colors when mixed with acacia glue which is a resin commonly used as a paint catcher in ancient painting can be able create a good quality natural colors printmaking by add and catch natural colors volume that have a soft volume, gentle and give relax feeling, comfortable to view. The important thing can express character of work and identity
of creator well. In art it is qualitative feeling. The audience will feel it by themselves.
