Abstract

ตลอด ค.ศ. 2011 ชุมชนระหว่างประเทศได้แลเห็นปรากฏการณ์ที่ไม่เคยคาดคิดมาก่อน เกิดขึ้นในภูมิภาคแอฟริกาเหนือและตะวันออกกลางนั่นคือการลุกฮือเรียกร้องประชาธิปไตยและการมีส่วนร่วมในทางการเมืองและการโค่นล้มผู้นำประเทศซึ่งส่วนใหญ่ครองอำนาจมาอย่างยาวนานผ่านเทคโนโลยีการสื่อสารสมัยใหม่ที่เรียกกันว่าสังคมออนไลน์ อย่างไรก็ตามการลุกฮือที่เกิดขึ้นนี้ ไม่ได้เกิดขึ้นด้วยจุดประสงค์ของการเรียกร้องประชาธิปไตย ความเสมอภาคและการโค่นอำนาจผู้ปกครองเผด็จการเท่านั้น แต่ยังเป็นการเรียกคืนการปกครองที่ต้องการศาสนาเข้าไปมีส่วนร่วมอยู่ด ซึ่งในช่วงของการลุกฮือยังไม่เห็นเป็นรูปธรรมมากนักแต่จากผลของการเลือกตั้งที่ปรากฏว่าในประเทศที่ผู้นำถูกโค่นอำนาจลงไปแล้ว ไม่ว่าจะเป็นตูนีเซีย อียิปต์หรือลิเบีย กลุ่มที่สนับสนุนการปกครองตามแนวทางอิสลามหรือให้อิสลามและกฎหมายอิสลามมีบทบาทนำได้รับชัยชนะเป็นด้านหลักการปรากฏตัวของ Arab Spring นำเอาทั้งสิทธิเสรีภาพการมีส่วนร่วมความสำนึกของผู้นำที่ครองอำนาจมาอย่างยาวนานและประชาธิปไตยที่ดูเหมือนจะเป็นหนทางไปสู่การเปิดโอกาสให้ประชาชนเลือกการปกครองของตนเองมาให้ในที่สุด ซึ่งส่วนใหญ่จะเลือกอิสลามวิถีเป็นด้านหลักแม้ว่าจะมีวิกฤติของการเปลี่ยนผ่านที่ไม่อาจคาดการณ์ได้รออยู่ข้างหน้าอีกจำานวนมากก็ตามNorth Africa and the Middle East after the Arab Spring

Throughout 2011 international community witnessed the situation which never happened before in North Africa and Middle East, that is the uprising demandeny democratic system and political participation and toppling the leaders of these countries who ruled for many years. This uprising arises with information technology of new age such as social media online. However, this uprising was not only demanding democracy, equality, and toppling the rulers, but this uprising also drew attention for political space for Islam in ruling system. Such type of political Islam was not seen clearly during the uprising. Nevertheless, the elections in the region show the success of political Islam i.e. in Egypt, Tunisia, and Libya where political parties are attached to Islamic ideology and Islamic laws and have captured the power. The event of uprising or awakening in the Arab World of North Africa and Middle East is known as Arab Spring. This Arab Spring has brought out right, freedom, people participation, and awareness towards the leaders who ruled the countries for many years. Ultimately, it seems that the people need democratic system in order to use opportunities to choose the political system preferably the Islamic way of ruling system yet. There are many obstacles awaiting ahead.
