Factors Affecting Saving Behavior for Financial Readiness for Retirement: A Case Study of Small and Medium Enterprise Development Bank of Thailand in South of Thailand

Abstract
The purpose of this research was to investigate factors that affect the saving behaviors for financial readiness for retirement of Southern SME Bank employees. The data were collected by using a questionnaire from 137 samples and analyzed using percentage, frequency, mean, standard deviation, t-test, One-way ANOVA, and Multiple Regression Analysis.
The result revealed that gender, marital status, economy factor and employees' liquidity significantly affected their financial readiness for retirement.
This research provides fundamental information for initiating a financial saving campaign for employees in both government and private companies, so that they would adjust their saving behaviors to fit with their income and expenses in accordance with current economic situations.
