บทบาทของสีจิ้นผิงในการเปลี่ยนแปลงสถาบันความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างพรรคกับรัฐในการเมืองจีน ในช่วงสมัชชาที่ 18, 19 และ 20

บทความวิจัยนี้มีข้อเสนอว่า การเปลี่ยนแปลงทางการเมืองภายในพรรคคอมมิวนิสต์จีนและความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างพรรคกับรัฐภายใต้สมัชชาที่ 18 – 20 นั้น เป็นผลมาจากปัญหาการสร้างความเป็นสถาบันให้แก่ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างพรรคกับรัฐในการเมืองจีนที่เริ่มตั้งแต่ช่วงปลายของยุคเติ้งเสี่ยวผิงเป็นต้นมาที่ยังมีปัญหาเกี่ยวกับความอสมมาตรของกลุ่มการเมืองภายในพรรค การจัดการโครงสร้างรัฐบาลและรัฐวิสาหกิจ การควบคุมรัฐบาลท้องถิ่น และสถานะของกองทัพปลดแอกประชาชน ด้วยเหตุนี้ พอถึงยุคผู้นำสูงสุดรุ่นที่ 5 จึงเป็นโจทย์ที่จำเป็นต้องแก้ไขอย่างทันท่วงที อย่างไรก็ตาม การแก้ไขประเด็นเหล่านี้กลับเป็นการไปทำลายความเป็นสถาบันระหว่างพรรคกับรัฐแบบเดิมโดยไม่ได้ตั้งใจและนำไปสู่สมมาตรใหม่ทางการเมืองจีนที่ผู้นำสูงสุดของจีนที่ยังไม่อาจคาดการณ์ได้
