Manuscript Format and Citation Style (Effective from January 2024 onwards)

If the editorial board finds that a submitted manuscript does not comply with the above guidelines, the manuscript will be returned to the author for revision. The author must revise the manuscript to fully comply with the guidelines before it can proceed to the review process.

Peer Review Process

Manuscripts that comply with the submission guidelines will be sent to three qualified reviewers with relevant expertise from various institutions. Each manuscript will be evaluated under a Double-Blind Peer Review system, in which the reviewers do not know the identity of the author(s), and the author(s) do not know the identity of the reviewers.

In cases where the reviewers determine that the manuscript is acceptable for publication subject to revision, the author(s) must revise the manuscript in accordance with the reviewers’ comments. The revised manuscript must clearly indicate the changes made. If the author(s) choose to retain the original wording, a written explanation must be submitted to the editorial board for further consideration.

The peer review process generally takes approximately three months. The Graduate Law Journal does not offer a fast-track review process for urgent cases.
