Abstract

Thailand is one of the countries ranked by the report of trafficking in person under the provisions of Trafficking Victims Protection Act of 2000 (TVPA), that has required annual report of trafficking in person from all countries around the world in order to classify countries that related to human trafficking problems, particularly the issues of forced labor and child labor in the manufacturing of imported goods and services imported to the United States. These issues are one of the Core Labor Standard under the international trade conditions. Since
the United States may uses these law as a tool to set restrictive limits or prohibit the importation of goods, which may violate the WTO's free trade agreements and GATT.
