Abstract

Khao Yai National Park is an area that is valuable as a natural world heritage a unique and outstanding area of natural resources and environment that is worthy of conservation protection protection and is the area surrounding Khao Yai Niyom Damnoen National Park.  Resort projects with the size of 80 rooms or more or the usable area of 4,000 square meters or more is required by law to prepare an environmental impact assessment report according to the Promotion and Conservation of Environmental Quality Act 2535.  The conditions for preparing the environmental impact assessment report for resort projects in the area surrounding Khao Yai National Park remain the standard method conditional conditions applicable to building projects that are not yet suitable for accommodation projects.  In the area surrounding Khao Yai National Park conditions must be added to suit the conditions of the resort project in the area surrounding Khao Yai National Park.  But the key elements of the report are: project details or activities, current environment, assessment of project options, assessing impacts that may arise from both direct and indirect project execution.  The public participates to find preventive measures to mitigate environmental impacts, to demonstrate remedies from project implementation and to supplement form and appearance control measures as part of the environmental impact study conditions.
