THE INTRODUCTION TO THE CONTEMPT OF COURT IN THAI LEGAL SYSTEM

Abstract
This article examines the introduction to the contempt of court in Thai legal system that concludes 2 key-points namely the fundamental concept of contempt of court and Thai laws concerning with contempt of court. At present, all courts in the Thai legal system, such as the Court of Justice, the Administrative Court, the Military Court and the Constitutional Court, have already the provision of contempt of court. From the study, it was found that the Civil Procedure Code is the ground of contempt of court for the Court of Justice and the archetype for the Military Court and the Administrative Court. However, the Administrative Court has added more details. In the Thai legal system, the Constitutional Court was provided the provision of contempt of court in the last court by the organic law separated completely from the Civil Procedure Code.
