A Model of the Strategic Administration for the Community Welfare Fund in the Lower Part of Northeast Thailand

Abstract
The research aimed to develop a model of the strategic administration for the community welfare fund in the lower part of northeast Thailand. The samples used in the field research were 400 members of the community welfare fund and the samples used in an experiment were three community funds specifically selected. The research instruments were a questionnaire, an interview and a focus group. Statistics used in data analysis were frequency,
percentage, mean, standard deviation, a survey analysis and a content
analysis. The research found that the model of the strategic administration in the study consisted of five components: basic principles of the model, key
components of the model, procedures, guidelines for the model evaluation,
success conditions and indicators. The five components were found to be
suitable, possible, practical, theoretically accurate and useful at the highest level. The strategic administration for the community welfare fund consisted of 6 main components and 46 indicators: strategic planning consisting of 24 indicators, strategic direction consisting of 5 indicators, strategic analysis consisting of 3 indicators, strategic practice consisting of 4 indicators, strategic control and evaluation consisting of 3 indicators. The developed model used in the fund development was found to be practical and satisfactory at a high level.
