Development Process of Educational Personnel with Buddhist Integrated Principles in Schools under Bangkok Metropolitan

Abstract

The objectives of this research were: to propose the process in
educational personnel development in schools under Bangkok Metropolitan. The quantitative data were collected through questionnaire from 375 teachers in schools under Bangkok Metropolitan and then analyzed by mean, percentage and standard deviation. The qualitative data were collected from documents, in-depth interview with 14 key-informants and focus group discussion with
7 key-informants and then analyzed by content analysis.
The results of the study found that: The process in educational
personnel development in schools under Bangkok Metropolitan with
Buddhist integrated principles had 2 main components: Component 1: Human resource development consisting of student centered learning activity, student centered learning promotion, student training and taming, activity supporting
desirable qualification, teachers’ profession criteria, learning resource, learning
development research, and learning evaluation, and Component 2: the
development of personnel in schools under Bangkok Metropolitan integrated with Buddhadhamma could lead to development in 4 aspects; physicality, morality, mentality and intellectual.
