Management of Program Internal Education Quality Assurance for Public University

Abstract

This research aimed to study 1) element of quality assurance management of programfor public universities2) current quality assurance and needsassessment for quality assurance management for public universitiescollected data from lecturers underpublic universities,53 universities. The sample consisted of 346 lecturers.  The data was collected by interview questionnaire. The statistics used in data analysis were percentage, mean , standard deviation and modified priority needs index .The result showed element of quality assurance management of programfor public universities is plan, do, check and act the currently internal education quality assurance is at a medium level and the expected internal education quality assurance is high.The item with the maximum requirement index are the curriculum is assessed for registration by the Office of the Higher Education Commission (PNI=0.47), the items with the minimum requirement index are the curriculum is systematically implemented in course design and curriculum (PNI = 0.17).
