The Development of Self-Awareness of Undergraduate Students of Northeastern Rajabhat Universities

Abstract
The research is divided into three stages according to the research objectives which are 1) to study the factors influencing the value of self-awareness to the undergraduate students in Rajabhat University in the Northeastern region, 2) to examine the guidelines to develop the value of self-awareness to the undergraduate students in Rajabhat University in the Northeastern region, and 3) to conduct the experiment and evaluate the guidelines to develop the value of self-awareness to the undergraduate students in Rajabhat University in the Northeastern region is analyzed with Structural Equation Model (SEM) with MPlus for windows and Pearson’s Correlation. The populations were 1,100 students. From the analysis, there are 3 integrated factors: self-achievement motivation factor, active-learning factor, and motivating policy factor for self-potentiality developing. These three factors lead to the design of activities in enhancing self-esteem for undergraduate students. There are 6 activities: self-awareness activity/self-analysis/self-understanding, moral activity to developing self-esteem, personality development activity, successful model person activity, self-esteem knowledge giving activity, and the development of self-potentiality activity. These activities bring better understanding, attitudes, and behaviors.
