Dance drama, 2) to study the synthesis of the body of knowledge for developing performing arts in Thailand. The qualitative research was conducted through a technique of deriving data from a documentary study and a field study using an observation and an interview with 3 key informants, 5 casual informants, and 3 general informants. Instruments used for collecting data were an observation form and an interview form. The results of thedata analysis were presented by means of a descriptive analysis. The findings have indicated as follows: 1) the tricks of the great teacher of dramatic arts who masters a play performed by all female for developing performing arts in Thailand in the form of a play performed by all male, a play performed by all female, a hybrid play mixed between a western play and an eastern play, and an opera oriented dance drama were inherit from teachers of SuanKulap palace, The College of Dramatic Arts, and The Office of Performing Arts, they are reflected through a person selected for acting as a main character of each play only and NopparatWangnaitham-the great teacher is the person who masters Thai dramatic arts, she inherited special tricks of performing arts for acting as a male lead actor, a female lead actor, and a giant and also has transmitted classic knowledge to her dramatic arts students, 2) the synthesis of the body of knowledge for developing performing arts in Thailand focused ona study of body movements in order to encourage performers to develop themselves to the performers with a great skill in classic performing arts and reach an aesthetic sense ofeach performance perfectly.
