EDUCATION MANAGEMENT AND PREVENTION OF NARCOTIC BEHAVIOR PROGRAM: A CASE STUDY OF BANGKOK METROPOLITAN SCHOOLS

Abstract

The purpose of this study were 1) to study the management of institutions which can prevent the drug consumption behaviors, 2) to study how to manage the program to prevent the drug consumption behaviors in the government
institutions, 3) to study the relations between the management of institutions and the management of the program to prevent the drug consumption behaviors, and 4) to seek the guideline of the management of the government institutions to prevent the drug consumption behaviors.
The scope of this research is to study 19 schools under Bangkok
metropolitan administration in Khet Chom Thong and Khet Bang Bon through the questionnaire of the sample group related to the staffs of the institutions as follows; 1. The executive 2. Teacher, total amount are 888 people. The data were analyzed, summarized and discussed with quantitative statistic of the Canonical Correlation and Path Analysis based on research hypothesis and qualitative analysis from in-depth interview and observation related to the management of institutions for an accomplishment of the program to prevent the drug consumption behaviors to support the purpose of the research and the result of the hypothesis.
According to the research results as above lead to the creation of the role model for the management of institutions for an accomplishment of the program to prevent the drug consumption behaviors: case study of schools under Bangkok metropolitan administration through the guideline analysis found the approach of the management of institutions for an accomplishment of the program to prevent the drug consumption behaviors. Particularly in the institutions, they should focus on the strategic planning and coordination which is an initial effect of the accomplishment of the program to prevent the drug consumption behaviors in terms of achieving the goal, continuous development and the performance of the program. Therefore, the institutions followed the result as above are lead to the good management of institutions for an accomplishment of the program to prevent the drug consumption
behaviors in the future.
