The Participation of People in Development Planning of Nong-Khon Sub-district Administrative Organization, Mueang District, Ubon Ratchathani Province

Abstract

The objectives of the research were to study people’s participation in making a development plan of Tambon Nongkhon Administrative Organization and obstacles as found in people’s participation. The group’s samples were 367 people. The research instrument was the questionnaire. Statistics used were frequency, percentage and mean. The research findings were as follows : The overall participation of people in making a development plan of Tambon Nongkhon Administrative Organization was moderate. Considering individual items, it was found that participation in operation, in making decision, in evaluating and common interest was moderate. Problems and obstacles in participating in making the development plan of Tambon Nongkhon
Administrative Organization in Mueang district were at a high level.
