Impact of the COVID-19 Epidemic on Tourism Activities from the Perspective of Entrepreneurs at Namtok Chet Sao Noi National Park, Saraburi Province

Abstract

              The objectives of this study were to determine socio – economic condition, entrepreneur opinions levels and factors affecting entrepreneur opinions on covid-19 epedemic towords tourism activities at Namtok Chet Sao Noi National Park, Saraburi Province. Data  gathered  by employing the designed questionnaire interviewed 120 person during July 2021 to September 2021. Statistical analysis methods employed for testing hypothesis were t-test and F-test with the given significant level at 0.05 and multiple comparison test by Scheffe method

              The results of this study indicated that most of the respondents were female 63.33 percent, and their average age was 45.72 year old. Their marital status were married with 56.67 percent. Their majority educational level have no school and primary school were 44.17 percent. Main occupation was 56.67 percent merchant. An average total household income was 229,400 baht per year. Tourism activities were food service/ coffee and beverage at 40.83 percent, average tourism activities period was 10.54 years.Their domiciles were in central region/eastern region. Average entrepreneur opinions levels score was 3.28 at the moderate level. Factors affecting entrepreneur opinions on covid-19 epedemic towords tourism activities at Namtok Chet Sao Noi National Park, Saraburi Province were age and tourism activities period.
