Abstract

The service industry is an important role in the country's economic expansion. Especially in the hotel business that the main business of service. Staff are a key element in the service industry that drives service works. This article will discuss the professional staff in the hotel industry. There is an analytical study of the development guidelines from any institutions for prepare personnel to have potential in service standards to hospitality business. Institutions offering hospitality education should inspire people to grow into more skill-based positions. Under the following processes: 1) understanding of the position 2) self- understanding 3) job motivation and 4) selection and decision to enter the position. From the analysis of hotel business, it was found that the demand for workers with knowledge, skills and expertise that are standardized in specific skill-operating level, there was still a lot of demand. Especially in the food and beverage service department of the hotel It focuses on bartender and sommelier positions.
