Abstract

The objective of this research was to study a particular way to develop people's quality of life of Lamsai Sub-district Administrative Organization, Wang Noi District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya as guidance to better solve such problems. The samples used in this study were 380 people living in 6 villages located in the responsible area of Lamsai Sub-district Administrative Organization, Wang Noi District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya. A research instrument was a questionnaire, and the statistics used for data analysis were percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The results revealed that people's quality of life was rated at a neutral level. When considered each aspect from high to low according to the analyzed mean scores, the four aspects were Body, Mind, Environment, and Social Relationship, respectively. The suggestion regarding Body was to provide people in the area with the knowledge about how to enhance quality of life. In terms of Mind, the staff keen on human minds should make people understand this aspect more so as to reduce the problems they were encountering. With regard to Social Relationship, people's suspicion on government officials should be decreased for their pleasant living. In relation to Environment, a suggestion about reducing unnecessary expenses and increasing more income through supplementary work should be given to people based on the philosophy of sufficiency economy proposed by King Rama 9.
