Organizational Commitment of Provincial Police Officers, Phetchaburi Province ความผูกพันต่อองค์การของข้าราชการตำรวจภูธรจังหวัดเพชรบุรี

Abstract
The objectives of the study were to 1)investigate levels of an organizational commitment of provincial police officers in Phetchaburi province and 2) study officers’ working performance factors affecting organizational commitment of provincial police officers in Phetchaburi province. The subjects used in the study consisted of 130 police officers in Phetchaburi province. The research instrument used was a questionnaire. The statistical data was done by using frequency, mean, standard deviation, and multiple regression analysis. The findings revealed that 1) the overall organizational commitment of the subjects was in the highest level. If the factors were sorted by mean in descending order, the results were as follows: the willingness and dedication to promote the organization’s advantages, the wish to remain being organization members, the high confident in the company’s goals and needs. In addition, the overall organizational commitment towards popularity of organization and working performance factors was at the highest level. If the factors were sorted by mean in descending order the results were as follows: the successful rate of working, relationship between colleagues, types of working, expectation that they expect from the organization, freedom in working environment respectively. 2) Police officers’ working performance factors in Phetchaburi province were related to the organizational commitment. When each factor was solely analyzed, the results showed that relationship between colleagues, types of working, expectation that they expect from the organization have a statistically significance at the level of .001 to organizational commitment of provincial police officers in Phetchaburi.
