Abstract
The present study attempted to investigate the effectiveness of good governance principle implementation 2) to study the relationship between individual characteristic performances and the effectiveness of the implementation and 3) to study the relationship between factors affected staff’s performance and the implementation in Administrative Department, Aerial Reinforcement Division, Border Patrol Police Bureau, Cha-am district, Petchaburi province. The subject were 148 informants which consisted of 2 group of informants. The first group was the police who were in charge at the Aerial Reinforcement Division, Border Patrol Police Bureau and the second group was the representatives which were coordinating with the Border Patrol Police Bureau from the other administrative organizations. The data collection was done by a questionnaire which the reliability was at 0.974. The statistical devices used in the study were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and linear regression analysis. The findings revealed that 1) the overall factors of effectiveness of good governance principle implementation in the administrative department were at the high level. If each factor was sorted by mean, the results were as follows; accountability, equity, rule of law, efficiency, transparency, and participation. In addition, all of the factors affected administrative department’s performance were at the high level. The factors were sorted by mean as follows; leadership, legal regulations, human resource management, communication within organization, budget and information technology respectively. 2) The age which was one of the factors was in relation with the effectiveness of good governance principle and the participation aspect. Moreover, the education was in relation with the effectiveness of good governance principle of the accountability and efficiency aspect with statistical significance at the level of .05. 3) The overall factors affected staff’s performance in administrative department were in relation with the effectiveness of good governance principle with statistical significance at the level of .001. Furthermore, all of the factors affected staff’s performance in administrative department were in relation with the effectiveness of good governance principle with statistical significance at the level of .001 as well.
