Using Chinese Character Stroke Order Cards for Enhancing Chinese Vocabulary Retention การใช้บัตรภาพแสดงวิวัฒนาการคำศัพท์เพื่อพัฒนาทักษะการจดจำคำศัพท์ภาษาจีน

Abstract
The present study aimed to enhance Chinese vocabulary retention of Chinese major students at Thepsatri Rajabhat University. The participants consisted of 27 students who had the problem with learning and remembering different Chinese vocabulary. The second purpose was to study the students’ vocabulary achievement after enhancing Chinese vocabulary retention. The research instrument of the study was Chinese character revolution cards which consisted of 2 categories – parts of body and nature. The cards were created in accordance with Chinese character origin and revolution, its categories, and ways to remember the vocabulary. The research tools which were used to evaluate the students’ vocabulary achievement were vocabulary retention exercises, achievement test and satisfaction survey. The results showed that there was systematically significant improvement of students’ vocabulary achievement which can be applied to other Chinese subject courses. Furthermore, the students’ overall satisfaction toward the enhancement was at the highest level. The study suggested that the students should be engaged in various Chinese exercises and practiced in real-life communication
