Abstract

This research aimed to study 1) Level of An effectiveness of implementation of the Nationality Act (No.5), B.E. 2555 with special emphasis on granting Thai citizenship to Thai diaspora in Mueang Ranong, Ranong Province. and 2) The causal relationships between the policy implementation factors and the Effectiveness of implementation of the Nationality Act (No.5), B.E. 2555 with special emphasis on granting Thai citizenship to Thai diaspora in Mueang Ranong, Ranong Province. The sample were 130 informants from Thai diaspora in Mueang Ranong, Ranong Province. The statistics used for data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation, Chi-Square analysis and multiple regression analysis. The research result were as follows: 1) An effectiveness of implementation of the Nationality Act (No.5), B.E. 2555 with special emphasis on granting Thai citizenship to Thai diaspora in Mueang Ranong, Ranong Province were overall at average level. Considering in each aspect was at high level in application for proving of Thai diaspora, was low level in verification of family tree, examining witnesses, consideration of Thai diaspora Authority committee, a process of filing Thai nationality to applicant, respectively. and 2) The factors of the policy implementation and an effectiveness of implementation of the Nationality Act (No.5), B.E. 2555 with special emphasis on granting Thai citizenship to Thai diaspora in Mueang Ranong, Ranong Province was the positive relation with statistical significance .001 in standards policy, law enforcement and at statistical significance .01 was resource policy
