Abstract
This article aimed at studying the presentation of a social reflection in Kingchat’s novel entitled “Fah Krajang Dao” related to prostitution, teenage prostitutes, violation, and gender inequality. It was found that this novel presented each aforementioned issue through the protagonist, who was both a news reporter and a police officer. The prostitution in Tok Kiao Village’s scenes was represented through the characters’ backgrounds and their news articles, associated with the social problems, and the social values in terms of gratitude redemption by becoming a teenage prostitute were ironically conveyed. This novel did not only reflect the darkness of society but also encourage readers to realize the issues of gender inequality perceived from a number of submissive female characters so that both men and women in a society would be considered as equal
