Abstract

The purposes of this research were to 1) develop an additional curriculum on “Bang Rachan Heroes” for Matthayom 5 students, Learning Area of Foreign Languages, and 2) study the results of an additional curriculum usage on “Bang Rachan Heroes” for Matthayom 5 students, Learning Area of Foreign Languages.  The participants were 38 Matthayom 5 students from Sing Buri School, The Secondary Educational Service Area Office 5 during  academic year 2018 by using random sampling. The instruments of this research were 1) an additional curriculum on “Bang Rachan Heroes”, 2) an achievement test with a reliability value of 0.781., 3) an evaluation form on English speaking skills, and 4) a questionnaire on the curriculum satisfaction with a reliability of 0.808. The data was analyzed in term of mean, standard deviation, content analysis, and t-test. The results were as follows: 1) There were principles, objectives, course description, course structure, learning activities, learning activities, learning resources, measurement and evaluation, and lesson plans in an additional curriculum. 2) The results of an additional curriculum usage was found that the students’ learning achievement after using the additional curriculum was significantly higher than that before at 0.05 level. The students had the English speaking skills at good level and their satisfactions on an additional curriculum was at high level.
