Abstract

This research aims to study 1) the level of management of the development strategy based on the good governance principles in Paknampran Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Pranburi district, Prachuapkhirikhan province; 2) to study the level of employment of the good governance principles into the management of development strategy in the organization and      3) to study the correlation between the employment of the principles and the management of development strategy in the organization. The samples were 150 people living in the area of Paknampran Subdistrict Administrative Organization. The descriptive statistics such as percentage, mean and standard deviation were used to explain the data. The inferential statistic which was Pearson’s correlation coefficient was also used. The research found that the level of the management of development strategy based on the good governance principles in Subdistrict Administrative Organization was at high level that were included; the basic structure, education and religion and culture and politics-management and public health and environment, ecotourism and health as well as economic and social and community respectively. The employment of the good governance principles into the management of development strategy in the organization was overall also in the high level including moral, participation and accountability and rule of law, transparency and principles of value. The research also found that the employment of the principles and the management of development strategy had the correlation at .01. The management factors which were; rule of raw, moral and transparency and participation, accountability and principles of value were correlated to the management of development strategy based on the good governance principles in Subdistrict Administrative Organization.
