An Assessment of Chinese Cultural Tourist Attractions Quality Standards in the Khorat Geopark Area

Abstract

An assessment of Chinese cultural tourist attractions quality standards in the Khorat Geopark area. The objective of the research was the standard evaluates the quality of the Chinese cultural attraction in Khorat Geopark area, Mueang Nakhon Ratchasima District. The qualitative research using the standard evaluation and quality form for cultural tourism from the Department of Tourism, Ministry of Tourism and Sports. Five assessors, cultural tourism specialists in Nakhon Ratchasima province. Information on Chinese cultural tourist attractions from the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Nakhon Ratchasima Office and the Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Cultural Office. The standard evaluation of the quality of cultural attractions, out of three components. Element 1: potential for tourism attractiveness, full score 50 points. Element 2: tourism support potential, full score of 10 points, and element 3: management, full score 40 points, total score 100 points. And bring the assessment results of Chinese cultural tourism quality standards, the level of standard evaluation quality of cultural attractions. The research results, the Chinese cultural attraction on Khorat Geopark path, Mueang Nakhon Ratchasima District, a total six places. The standard evaluation quality of cultural attractions: one tourist attractions of very good standards levels, two tourist attractions of middle standards levels, and three tourist attractions of low standards levels. The recommendations of assessors to conduct research on component lists and index lists. For the development and promote increased tourism in Chinese cultural tourist attractions.
