Updated Author Guidelines
Effective from Vol. 12 No. 2 (2026): July - December 2026, the ASEAN Journal of Education (AJE) will be adding new formatting guidelines for all newly published articles.
To support and align with the standards of international digital publishing, AJE has added the following guidelines:
- Author Contributions: The author must indicate the contributions of each author in the manuscript based on the 14 roles of CRediT Taxonomy.
- ORCID iD: Authors must provide each author’s ORCID iD, sequenced according to the manuscript’s author list.
- Conflict of Interest: Authors must declare any conflict of interest related to the manuscript.
- Declaration of Generative Artificial Intelligence Usage: Authors must properly disclose any usage of Generative Artificial Intelligence throughout the manuscript’s writing process (if applicable).
Please see AJE’s ‘Author Guidelines’ page and the updated Research Article Template and Review Article Template for more formatting details and guidelines.
Respectfully,
ASEAN Journal of Education
