About the Journal
Aims and scope
ASEAN Journal of Education (AJE) is an international peer-reviewed journal committed to publishing research articles and review articles related to education in ASEAN countries with topics including early childhood education, elementary education, curriculum and instruction, educational administration, educational technology, and any other related fields of education. Our journal aims to provide a community for specialists to share their knowledge and offer new perspectives and insight that are helpful to researchers, scholars, and educational practitioners.
Types of articles
Research articles
An original paper is a comprehensive research that the authors have conducted. It explores a particular research subject or hypothesis in-depth, frequently including collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data. The systematic explanation of methods, results, and discussions is an important characteristic of original articles. Research articles present new information, which can be applied to future studies of its related field and practical uses. Research articles submitted to our journal must not exceed 8,000 words, excluding citations.
Review articles
Review articles provide in-depth analyses of the research on a specific subject. It performs a critical analysis and synthesis of the selected literature, highlighting gaps in our understanding and making suggestions for further studies. Review articles submitted to our journal must not exceed 10,000 words, excluding citations.
Peer Review Process
Manuscripts submitted to AJE will undergo a peer-review process in which at least three specialized reviewers will review the manuscript through a double-blind review system. More details about the peer review process are provided in the ‘Peer Review Process’ section of the journal’s website.
Publication Frequency
The journal publishes two issues per year:
1st issue: January to June
2nd issue: July to December
Language
All articles published with AJE must be well written in English with proper grammar and spelling.
Publication charges
Submitting a manuscript to AJE is free of charge.
Open access policy
ASEAN Journal of Education is open access platform to ensure that valuable research will be conveniently accessible and can be effectively used for academic value.

Copyright and licensing
Manuscripts submitted for publication must be assigned copyright to Suan Dusit University. Reproduction of the article (in whole or in part) requires written approval from Suan Dusit University. Article content, except for errors that occurred during the printing process, is the author’s responsibility.
Revenue sources
ASEAN Journal of Education does not charge for publication. It is Suan Dusit University's commitment to financially support all researchers.
Advertising
ASEAN Journal of Education (AJE) does not have a policy to display paid advertisements or accept advertising revenue. We specifically have an announcement section providing information and news about relevant upcoming academic events.
Direct marketing
We use direct marketing strategies, such contacting potential authors and maintaining contact with them to advertise the journal. Nevertheless, we ensure that the recipients will not be overwhelmed by the information provided.
History of journal
ASEAN Journal of Education (AJE) was first published in 2015 and has been continuing for 9 years with International Standard Serial Numbers: ISSN: 2465-437X (online) and ISSN: 2673-0766 (print). Until 2019, the journal was published only in an online version.
