Publishing ethics are required in order to submit work to ASEAN Journal of Education for the highest quality. It is necessary to prohibit and sanction the following actions:
- Manuscripts and articles that have been found to contain plagiarism.

Any suspected instances of plagiarism, including self-plagiarism, will be handled severely. The editorial team will stop the review process and return the paper to the authors if cases of plagiarism and self-plagiarism are found, regardless of the severity of the problem. According to AJE, whether it was done consciously or not, plagiarism is the unrecognized insertion of content taken from published or unpublished work.
