Development of guidelines the management of Boy scout and Girl Guide activities in the schools under the jurisdiction of the Office of Buriram Primary Education Service Area 4

Abstract

         The objectives of the research article were 1) to study a present and desirable characteristic of the Boy Scouts and Girl Guide management, 2) to develop the Boy Scouts and Girl management approach in schools under the jurisdiction of the Office of Buriram Primary Education Service Area 4. There were 194 samples consisting of administrators and teachers who teach Boy Scouts and Girl Guide. The tool used in this part was questionnaire, interviews and evaluation the statistical analysis to evaluate the appropriateness and the possibility of develop the Boy scouts and Girl Guide management approach in schools under the jurisdiction of the Office of Buriram Primary Education Service Area 4. The research statistics used in the research were percentage, mean, standard deviation, Index of Item Objective Congruence and index need (PNI_Modified).    

          The results were as follows : 1. The current circumstances of the Boy Scouts and Girl Guide management in schools under the jurisdiction of the Office of Buriram Primary Education Service Area 4 with the whole picture were at medium level. The desirable characteristics of Boy Scouts and Girl Guide activities in management in schools of with the whole picture were at highest level. the need for the development of Boy Scouts and Girl Guide activities. 2. The development of guidelines the management of Boy scouts and Girl Guide activities in the schools under the jurisdiction of the Office of Buriram Primary Education Service Area 4 consisted of 4 factors and 21 indicators. There were 6 indicators of scout activities, 5 indicators of boy scouts and girl, 5 indicators of scout leader and 5 indicators of scout director of school. The result of assessment for appropriateness and the possibility of management approach of Boy scouts and Girl Guide with the were at highest level.
