ADMINISTRATION BASED ON THE PRINCIPLES OF GOOD GOVERNANCE OF SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS AT MAHASARAKHAM TOWN MUNICIPALITY SCHOOLS

Abstract
The objectives of this research article were 1) to study the opinions of teachers about the administration based on the principles of good governance of the school administrators in Mahasarakham town municipality schools, 2) to compare the overall opinion of the teachers about the administration based on the principles of good governance of the school administrators in Mahasarakham town municipality schools regarding work position and work experience, and 3) to find useful practical guidelines of the administration based on the principles of good governance for school administrators. The sample group consisted of 125 school administrators and school teachers and 20 experts. Research instruments were questionnaire, interview form. The statistics used were percentage, mean, standard deviation and t-test.
The research result was found that: 1. the study showed that the overall opinion of the teachers about the administration based on the principles of good governance of the administrators was at a high level. 2. The findings indicated that the overall opinion of the school directors and teachers about the administration based on the principles of good governance of the administrators regarding the different work positions was not different. 3. Regarding the practical guidelines, the findings suggested that there should be strategies for following up and evaluating the administration based on the principles of good governance of the administrators for the improvement. The best practical strategy for the administration should base on the ability and competency of the administrators in accountability, effectiveness, and effectiveness. The practical strategy should be also clear for the administrators. The administration should focus on efficiency in time, money, and resources. The resource management should relate to the development plan for the efficiency and goal of the organization. The schools should have short-term and long-term development plans for appropriate and practical implementation based on the strategic plan and the final goal.
