DEVELOPMENT OF TEACHER COMPETENCY ENHANCING PROGRAM ON LEANING ORGANIZATION IN ACTIVE LEARNING FOR EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS UNDER THE SECONDARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE 23

Abstract

         The objectives of this research article were 1) to study the current state and desirable state of leaning organization in active learning for educational institutions under the secondary educational service area office 23, 2)develop teacher competency enhancing program on leaning organization in active learning for educational institutions under the secondary educational service area office 23. The sample used in this research was a group of 327 people consisting of administrators and teachers.The research instrument used in the data collection were 1) questionnaire guidelines of leaning organization in active learning, 2) structured interview for school administrators and teachers from best practice schools. The statistics used to analyze data were percentage, mean, and standard deviation.

         The research results were found that; 1. The current state of leaning organization in active learning for educational institutions under the secondary educational service area office 23 in overall was rated at a low level respectively and desirable state of leaning organization in active learning for educational institutions under the secondary educational service area office 23 in overall was rated at a high level respectively. 2. The development of teacher competency enhancing program on leaning organization in active learning for educational institutions under the secondary educational service area office 23 consisted of 5 components as 1) principles,           2) objectives, 3) models and development methods, 4) the content and syllabus which is the development of teacher competency enhancing program on leaning organization     in active learning for educational institutions under the secondary educational service area office 23 consisted of 6 units as 1) warm up, 2) the study and analysis, 3) training/ practice/trying out, 4) conclusion and presentation of learning result, 5) learning improvement/apply, 6) evaluation: the methods of development of teacher competency enhancing used in this program were Workshop, Self Learning, Coaching, Supervising, and Mentoring, and assessment and evaluation of the program.
