Abstract
The purposes of this article were 1) to study the strategic leadership of school administrators; 2) to study the effectiveness of academic affairs management of schools; 3) to study the relationship between the strategic leadership of school administrators and the effectiveness of academic affairs management of schools; and 4) to construct a predictive equation of the effectiveness of academic affairs management of schools under the Office of Roi Et Primary Educational Service Area 2. The sample group was 347 people. The research instrument used for collecting the data was a five–point rating scale questionnaire. The statistical methods included frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Pearson’s product moment correlation coefficient and stepwise multiple regression.
The research results were as follows: 1. The strategic leadership of school administrators under the Office of Roi Et Primary Educational Service Area 2 as an overall was at the very high level. It was also at the high level for each aspect. 2. The effectiveness of academic affairs management of schools under the Office of Roi-Et Primary Educational Service Area 2 as an overall was at the very high level. It was also at the high level for each aspect. 3. The relationship between strategic leaderships of school administrators and the effectiveness of academic affairs management of schools was found positive at a very high level with statistical significance at .01 level. 4. To construct a predictive equation of the effectiveness of academic affairs management of schools under the Office of Roi Et Primary Educational Service Area 2, it was found that the revolutionary thinking strategy was the best predictor of the effectiveness of academic affairs management of schools followed by the corporate organizational culture, and the strategic planning, respectively. These predictors could mutually explain the variance of the effectiveness of academic affairs management of schools under the Office of Roi Et Primary Educational Service Area 2 for 34.60 percent with the statistical significance at .01 level.
