A STUDY OF PROBLEMS AND GUIDELINES FOR DEVELOPING THE USE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY FOR ACADEMIC ADMINISTRATION IN THE DIGITAL ERA OF SCHOOLS, UNDER THE KALASIN SECONDARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to study problems and guidelines for developing the use of information technology for academic administration in the school's digital era. Under the Kalasin Secondary Educational Service Area Office. The population used in this research were 55 schools under the Kalasin Secondary Education Service Area Office. The population was used as a sample, assign to school administrators, academic teachers, and teachers responsible for information technology.  Data were analyzed using a questionnaire, Rating Scale with a reliability of 0.92 Statistics used in data analysis were frequency, mean, standard deviation, and one-way analysis of variance.

The research shows that 1) Problems in using information technology for academic administration in the school's digital era. Overall, it was at a high level, when considering each aspect, the highest average was the development of the internal quality assurance system and educational standards and the lowest average was educational supervision. 2) Comparative results of using information technology for academic administration in the school’s digital era. 2.1) Classified by position of respondent’s school. Administrators, academic teachers, information technology teachers Overall, the difference was statistically significant at the .05 level when considering each aspect. there were 3 differences in terms of curriculum development in schools, development of learning process and educational supervision. 2.2) Class Classified by school size Overall, the difference was statistically significant at the .05 level when considering each aspect. There is a difference development of internal quality assurance systems and educational standards. 3) Guidelines for developing the use of information technology for academic administration in the school's digital era.  3.1) Assessment, evaluation and transfer of learning results to increase the effectiveness of assessment and evaluation of learning outcomes encourage the use of various measurement and assessment formats in the classroom by using Quiziz, Zip grade, Plicker, and provide training on skills, knowledge and understanding of the use of measurement and assessment programs for teachers and officials. 3.2) development of internal quality assurance systems and educational standards promote the use of information technology in the operation of educational quality assurance. It uses an easy-to-understand and unified quality assurance data collection program to reduce the documentation workflow. Encourage the assignment of system administrators to solve problems with the use of the program.
