          The Chinese Journal of Social Science and Management has been published on a continuous basis since B.E. 2560 (A.D. 2017). It has been certified by the Thai Journal Citation Index Centre (TCI) as being in the First Group of Journals in Humanities and Social Sciences.

Aim and Scope:

  • The purpose of publishing and disseminating academic articles in the fields of
    Management: Business Management, Marketing, Management and Accounting, Human Resource Management, Organizational Management, Strategic Management, Logistics Management, Arts Management, and Tourism Management
    Education: Teaching Curriculum, Educational Techniques, Measurement and Assessment, and Educational Management 
    Liberal Arts: Linguistics and Language
  • The CJSSM submissions are welcome from both Panyapiwat Institute of Management (PIM) and other institutions in Thailand and foreign.

Peer Review Process

Reviewing Policy: 

  1. Any manuscript to be accepted for publication must have been reviewed and approved by at least three peer reviewers in that particular field or related fields. The Journal has a double-blind peer review policy, which means that neither the peer reviewer nor the author knows the identity of the other
  2. he submitted manuscript must have never been published in any other periodical, and must not be in the approval process for publication by any other periodical. Also, the author must not plagiarize the work of other people.
  3.  The article, expression, illustrations, and tables that are published in the Journal are the sole responsibility of the author and not that of the Panyapiwat Institute of Management.
  4. The Editorial Board of the CJSSM reserves the right to change or revise the name(s) and unit(s) of the author(s) in all cases after the issuance of the letter.
  5. The Editorial Board of the CJSSM reserves the right to cancel the publication that has been issued a certification of publication in the Panyapiwat Journal.
  6. The Editorial Board of the CJSSM reserves the right to decide on publishing an article in the Journal.

Type of Articles:

  • Research article: Original full-length research papers        that have not been published previously. These are articles where authors report on studies they conducted. The length should be more than 15 pages, excluding references.
  • Academic articles: These are critical evaluations of          studies in particular areas that have already been published, or theoretical articles in which the authors aim to formulate new theories on existing research. The length should be more than 15 pages, excluding references.

Language:

  • The CJSSM accepts manuscripts in Chinese and English. All submissions must be well-written, adhering to correct, standard, and academically appropriate language. For Chinese and English manuscripts, proofreading by a native speaker is required to ensure clarity and quality.
  • To maintain high standards and publication ethics of the Journal, the editorial board has employed the application of the Turnitin Program to all submitted manuscripts to the plagiarism issues.

Frequency of Publication: Twice a year

  • The first issue: January - June
  • The second issue: July – December

 Publication and Access Charges:

           The author is required to pay a publication fee of 3,500 Thai Baht for each published article. This fee is due after the initial review process by the editorial team. This announcement is effective on February 1, 2024

Open Access Policy:

         All articles published in the CJSSM are open-access and freely available for reading, downloading, and sharing.  However, proper citations of these articles are required for their reproduction and public distribution by any medium.

Ownership and Management:

         The c is published by the Research and Development Department at Panyapiwat Institute of Management, Thailand, with financial support provided by the Institute. The journal’s operation is led by the Editor-in-Chief and the Associate Editor-in-Chief, who work closely with the editorial team and staff. This funding ensures that the journal maintains high standards of publishing and a thorough peer-review process, and remains freely accessible to researchers globally. The CHINESE JOURNAL OF SOCIAL SCIENCE AND MANAGEMENT (CJSSM) is dedicated to fostering innovation and scientific advancement, and its support of this journal helps promote the exchange of knowledge and encourages collaborations both within Thailand and internationally.

Copyright and Licensing:

  • Prospective authors should be aware that all submissions must be original and be accompanied by the consent form listing all named authors. Additionally, authors must obtain official permission to include texts, figures, data, or any other information attributable to others.
  • Upon submitting the article, the authors grant the CJSSM the right to publish the article without any restrictions. However, the authors retain the copyright to their work and the right to reproduce, distribute, and display it.  Authors can use the articles in their academic work or share them with their students, while CJSSM Journal controls how the articles are disseminated.  

Revenue Sources:

        The publication process carries a fee of 3,500 Thai Baht. The Chinese Journal of Social Science and Management (CJSSM) relies on financial support from authors and the Panyapiwat Institute of Management (PIM) to sustain its operations and to encourage scholars and researchers to disseminate their valuable academic contributions.

Advertising:

         In alignment with its policy, the journal does not accept any form of advertisement funding. Relevant information about academic conferences, journal updates, or research projects may be shared on the journal’s official website when deemed appropriate. The inclusion of such content does not compromise the journal’s ethical principles.

Direct Marketing:

         The journal does not engage in direct marketing practices. Announcements, such as calls for papers or journal promotions, are made available through official channels, including the journal’s website, social media, or affiliated organizations. These communications adhere to ethical guidelines and respect individual privacy.
